Letter to Prime Minister Trudeau
Right Honourable Justin Trudeau
Office of the Prime Minister
80 Wellington Street
Ottawa, ON K1A 0A2
Dear Prime Minister Trudeau,
In light of the crimes against humanity committed by the terrorist group Hamas on October 7, we implore you to visit Israel to show solidarity with Israel and our key allies in the fight against terrorism.
The axis of Iran and the terrorist organizations it sponsors, such as Hezbollah and Hamas, is intent on destroying Israel. But the savagery won’t stop there. The only way to prevent this evil alliance from committing further massacres of innocent people is for the free world to unite forces to stop it now.
Our Western allies have taken meaningful steps to show solidarity with Israel. President Biden is a model of solidarity and determination. And the leaders of the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Holland, and Greece have all travelled to Tel Aviv and met with Israeli leaders.
Also, the plague of antisemitism is growing in Canada and elsewhere, with some of our own citizens celebrating the barbaric mass-murder of Jews. Our free and open societies depend on strong leaders willing to name acts of evil and defend the principles of justice and tolerance upon which our society is built.
As a world leader and member of the G7, it’s inconceivable that Canada would be the only major Western country whose leader has not visited Israel to show solidarity with the victims of the Hamas atrocities, and to join our allies in personally committing to defeat the Iranian axis in its mission to destroy Israel and the West.
The many supporters of this letter would be proud to see Canada take its place among the countries demonstrating moral leadership. Please visit Israel and represent our great country at this critical time.
Yours sincerely,
